five ski areas within easy reach of Aberdeen. Skiing and
winter sports are abound at Glenshee and the Lecht
Ski Centres over the winter period.. The
festive season is fired up by the world renowned Stonehaven
Fireball Festival Ceremony on Hogmanay and
the ancient Burning of the Clavie procession
on January 11th at Burghead.
